The dominant issue across the country these days, of course, is how to effectively deal with one’s hurt feelings after being triggered by someone else’s offensive Halloween activities or costume. Fortunately, many colleges have prepared their counseling centers to provide adequate comfort and respite for their students. Some have even empowered their Bias Response Teams to proactively seek out costume-wearers who are adorned in unacceptable attire. Knotts Berry Farm, in a loving and warm response to legitimate and real objections, closed down one of their attractions.
I began today’s show discussing how #HausRules will be responding to the calamity: I will be devoting November 1st’s show to taking calls from listeners who are having difficulty to dealing with their own responses to offensive costumes. I’m even considering devoting MORE air time to this, as a way to give back and help those in need.
Two HausGuests then made today’s weekending show a perfect one (just like every other one before it):Listen to “#HausRules – 10.21.16” on Spreaker.

HausGuest – John Ziegler
controversial popular radio host here in the Los Angeles area and op/ed writer a Mediaite, gave a vigorous defense of his #NeverTrump position and explained, given the seeming certainty of a Hillary win, what should be the right’s next steps.

And this was in response to Trump’s whining and bitching about (apparently brand-new, never-has-occurred before) media bias:
- Last night’s Al Smith Dinner (a charity event to benefit New York Catholic charities) was awkward, awful, mostly unfunny:
- Here’s a mashup of both of their (written by others and mostly poorly delivered) roasts:
