Fantastic HausGuests MAKE the show – and today I had two of them. Listen here:
I started the show with two topics:
- Hurricane Matthew and the (seemingly overblown) news about it:
- Doctors and their political affiliations:
Ask the Counselor – Dan Chambers
Dan and I talked about two different VERY interesting cases:
- A $40 million excessive force lawsuit in Ferguson was just tossed out:
- California has made it a felony for prosecutors to withhold or fake exculpatory evidence:
HausGuest – Naomi Schaefer Riley
Our first topic of conversation was this coming Monday’s
Columbus Day Indigenous People’s Day. Naomi pointed out that what current Native Americans need, being in the awful government-created situation that the vast majority of them are, is NOT a symbolic and meaningless gesture.
This issue is extensively covered in her fantastic book, “The New Trail of Tears”::
We also talked about her recent Weekly Standard article on Donald Trump and the Mormons:
I’ve already made a request to have her back on SOON!
Thank you for listening and have a GREAT weekend.
Heads up: Monday’s topic will be …. wait for it … … … The Presidential debate between Grandma and Cheeto Jesus.
The show is live at 7am PST / 10am EST.
