Two very sad things starting off the show today: RIP friend-of-show Gwen @GwenInAlaska Truax and murder/suicide victim at UCLA went to my alma mater. Life is VERY precious and with NO guarantees folks – grab ahold of it and LIVE it.

Hollywood In Toto – with Christian Toto
Simply put, we might need to discuss making this a regular weekly segment. Christian is just too good and there is SO much to talk about every week…
Here’s the isolated HiT segment:
Christian recommended “Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping” and the trailer is HILARIOUS:
We concluded by talking about a handful of television offerings – including the just-dropped season 2 of Netflix’s “Bloodline,” which Christian HIGHLY recommended. I watched and loved season 1 and am now even more excited about season 2.
HausGuest – Lawrence Meyers
Larry and I first discussed the hilarious dust up between Elizabeth Fauxahontas Warren and Debbie Wasserman-Schultz over payday lending, something he knows a TON about. DWS is defending the capitalists and Liawatha points out that DWS has received big donations from various lenders.
We then talked about his new play “Porn Rock,” which is based upon the mid-80s anti rock music efforts of Congress and Tipper Gore. The testimony of the various elected officials, reading NSFW lyrics, is hilarious. Furthermore, the issues of government censorship and free speech still resonate today.
I will DEFINITELY be seeing it! And I may go find a Twisted Sister t-shirt to wear, as well.
- Hillary Howler: She said people come up to her and say “I really admire you, I really like you, I just don’t know if I can vote for a woman to be president.” No possible way.
- Trump fails: He’s an establishment guy (vowing to make sure Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell remain in office and power) and he’s been sued hundreds and hundreds of times
