This is pretty funny:
Here are 5 facts about Kwanzaa:
- It was made up in 1966 by racist Marxist (who is a black studies college prof here in CA) Maulana Karenga
- Its tenets are fundamentally leftist
- Many of the African “traditions” it celebrates are not African at all
- It’s celebrated by slightly more people than celebrate “Festivus” – the fake Seinfeld-created holiday
Karenga said this about the “holiday” a dozen years after he created it:
“I created Kwanzaa. People think it’s African. But it’s not. I wanted to give black people a holiday of their own. So I came up with Kwanzaa. I said it was African because you know black people in this country wouldn’t celebrate it if they knew it was American. Also, I put it around Christmas because I knew that’s when a lot of bloods (blacks) would be partying!”
Kwanzaa ends on Friday, so party on!
