Tomorrow’s show will be a special throwback episode from August’s two most listened-to HausGuest segments. And they feature two of my heroes:
- Kevin Williamson:
Kevin D. Williamson is National Review’s roving correspondent and director of the National Review Institute’s William F. Buckley Jr Fellowship Program in Political Journalism. He is the author of The End Is Near and It’s Going To Be Awesome: How Going Broke Will Leave America Richer, Happier, and More Secure, The Dependency Agenda, and The Politically Incorrect Guide to Socialism. He contributed chapters to The New Leviathan: The State Vs. the Individual in the 21st Century and Future Tense: Lessons of Culture in an Age of Upheaval.
Kevin was on the show on 8.19 and we talked about the role of government in people’s lives and that people are not as liberty-minded as they like to pretend. Responsibility and consequences are HARD. We then talked about how Kevin hasn’t voted in a decade and that led to an inevitable discussion about H-Rod and The Donald.
- Stephen Miller:
Stephen Miller is a digital media designer + illustrator + consultant, writer and activist in the New York city of Brooklyn. He has recently converted over to an electric toothbrush to prevent carbon pollution from coming out of his mouth. His work in social media has been featured on RealClearPolitics, The Daily Caller,The Blaze & Hot Air. His past writing contributions include National Review Online, IJ.Com and Ricochet.com, and he currently contributes to Heat Street.
Stephen was on the show on 8.16 (and 4.15) and we first talked about Anthony Weiner’s latest social media fail (about which Stephen expressed STRONG confidence that Weiner had NO idea that he was being catfished, despite his comments after the fact). Then we talked about Bernie Sanders‘ new vacation home. Finally, we got around to talking about Cheeto Jesus (Stephen’s description of The Donald) and how there’s NO chance he’s voting for him (or Hillary).
Have a good labor day and please enjoy these two segments as much as I did!
The show is live at 7am PST / 10am EST.
