Elaina Plott of the DC Bureau of “National Review” will be Tuesday’s HausGuest and she’s going to have to answer one question right out of the box:

How in the world did a Yale graduate end up at National Review?

Possible answers:

  1. She was confronted by the ghost of William F. Buckley, Jr. on campus
  2. She is the lone exception to the lefty-progressive rule that now reigns at Yale
  3. She’s a plant from Media Matters or Think Progress

You KNOW this will be an interesting conversation. I had a friend who was the head of the College Republicans at Cal Berkeley and he said the political discourse resultant from engaging campus leftists was like shooting fish in a barrel.

We will also likely get around to at least one of these recent stories she has written as well:
